Alfredo Volio is the new president of the Chamber of Construction.

Alfredo Volio has been elected president of the Costa Rican Chamber of Construction (CCC) for the 2025–2026 term.

With a strong track record in real estate development, Volio will lead a team committed to strengthening the sector’s sustainability and competitiveness.

“We’re excited and confident in this new team of professionals starting work this year. Their experience, knowledge, and commitment will be essential to meeting the challenges and seizing the opportunities ahead for our sector in 2025,” said Volio.

The Board of Directors also includes engineer Edgar Navarro as first vice president and engineer Esteban Acón as second vice president. Javier Muñoz serves as secretary and Kathiana Aguilar as treasurer.

Directors include Carlos Trejos, Marco González, Andrea Lara, Claudio Pacheco, Mauricio Pereira, Alberto Bonilla, Armando Acuña, and Jaime Molina. Gabriela Víquez Rodríguez, MBA, serves as auditor.

The CCC represents an industry that generates around 478,000 formal jobs, benefiting over 600,000 people nationwide, and actively engages around 200 entrepreneurs and professionals through committees, commissions, and special programs.

The organization — known for initiatives such as Joven Empresario and Mujer Construye Costa Rica — remains a leading voice in innovation and sector representation. As a member of the Inter-American Federation of Construction (FIIC) and the Regional Organization of Chambers of Construction of Central America and the Caribbean (ORDECCCAC), the CCC aims to strengthen its impact on sustainable development and quality standards in Costa Rican construction.
