With the recent opening of Aliss, Lincoln Plaza reaches a historical occupancy record (98%), the project, which is part of the Real Estate Portfolio, was announced this Friday.

To achieve this, the shopping center targeted a series of post-pandemic changes that have allowed it to achieve the current level of tenant occupancy.

Among them are restaurants, financial institutions, shops, kiosks and a headquarters of the Metropolitan Hospital.

“The creation of unique experiences, the diversification of uses, the diversity of services and the focus on health are key aspects of the current dynamics of shopping centers,” explained Federico Baltodano, Project Director of Lincoln Plaza.

The opening of Aliss in Lincoln Plaza joins the more than 20 openings this year of various stores, including:

“At Lincoln Plaza we have worked to be the heart of the community, where fun, friendship and experiences come together in a single shopping, entertainment and service destination for all people.

“We are proud to see the results, this 2023 we close with 98% occupancy in the leasable area, which translates into social and economic development for our country,” explained Baltodano.

Aliss: 40 jobs
Aliss' operation in Lincoln Plaza generates 40 new direct jobs. The investment made there by the chain exceeds $1 million.

On the other hand, Lincoln Plaza generates more than 1,340 jobs in stores and commercial premises throughout the commercial project.

The 14th Aliss store in Costa Rica includes more than 10 departments among: beauty, clothing for women, men, children and babies, footwear and accessories, toys, outdoors and camping, decoration, furniture, home and appliances and school/offices. All this distributed in a space of 2,600 square meters.

“We are excited to have a new location in the eastern sector of San José. This new location adds to our expansion and marketing strategy,” commented Norman Chaves, Aliss Marketing Manager.
