Students from the Western region will benefit from technical training and professional internships in high-tech companies

Young people from the western part of the country will receive technical training to promote their entry into the job market through internships in high-tech companies.

This is made possible through partnerships forged between the real estate project Costa Rica Green Valley and various Professional Technical Colleges (CTP).

The drive behind these agreements arose after a careful evaluation of the community and the recognition of various clusters of actors within the ecosystem in the western region.

"In particular, the crucial role played by the Professional Technical Colleges (CTP) in the region was identified, highlighting their dynamism, commitment, and professionalism in seeking to connect with the growth of industrial parks in the canton of Grecia," said José Antonio Herrero, President of Costa Rica Green Valley.

The involved colleges, such as Bolívar in Grecia, Rosario in Naranjo, and Santa Eulalia in Atenas, will be the first to benefit from these initiatives, allowing students to participate in internships in companies with international standards.

These agreements not only aim to open doors for young people in the workforce but also to promote the adaptation of the educational offerings of the CTP to the needs of the local job market, specifically in the Grecia Free Trade Zone (ZFG).

Additionally, Costa Rica Green Valley supports the participation of students from the Technical College of Naranjo in the World Robotics Olympiad in Panama, providing financial support to overcome limitations that prevented their participation.

This support covers travel expenses for ten students and teachers who will represent Costa Rica in this international competition.
