Diners who follow haute cuisine have a new option to visit. Señor Bowl just opened its third restaurant on Avenida Escazú in Costa Rica, with a fresh and avant-garde concept, with the conception of its exquisite bowls, in a relaxed and tropical environment.

¨ »Costa Rica is a country that we love and that since we started our clients have supported us and have allowed us to grow and expand. In the midst of a pandemic, we were able to open our second store located in Barrio Escalante, exclusively for express service and pick up; and now we are inaugurating our largest project in Avenida Escazú ”, expressed Pamela Manzanares, founder partner of Señor Bowl.

The restaurant offers more than 30 different types of bowls, however each client can customize it to their taste, needs, diet and lifestyle, so the options are limitless. The menu has keto, gluten-friendly, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

The most preferred by customers are the Sushi Bowls, since they were launched they have become the favorites of many diners. The base can be Japanese style sushi rice, zucchini noodles, mixed organic quinoa or Japanese style brown rice, the protein of choice including fresh salmon, teriyaki chicken, smoked trout, fresh salmon, crab, tofu or shrimp, avocado, vegetables, chives and sesame seeds.

In addition, the menu includes sweet bowls based on acai and other fruits, also bowls for snacks based on oats and chia. At the Avenida Escazú store you can also find the "shop corner" with products from other entrepreneurs such as salts, honeys, butters made from different seeds, dressings, jams, among others.

All dishes are served in Bolws, currently they have Sushi Bowls, Salad Bowls, Keto Bowls and Buddha Bowls. Each of these categories offer different flavors and combinations but all include fresh, high-quality ingredients.

¨ »We offer bowls with fresh ingredients of the highest quality, without preservatives or additives, quick to prepare and in a presentation that is very friendly to transport and eat. With this opening, the gastronomic offer will be in constant expansion. New categories of bowls will be included, more options of drinks and snacks to accompany the different dishes, "said Manzanares.

The practices carried out in Señor Bowl are 100% in favor of the environment, which is why all their packaging is compostable, they have a collection center for the bowls to be taken to their packaging supplier and that these can be processed in the proper way; They work with local producers and thus support other entrepreneurs. In addition, they have the SME certification.

Señor Bowl was born in 2017 as a need to find a solution for quick but at the same time rich, healthy and different lunches, that were practical to eat and that maintained the flavor, temperature and quality while they were transported to the work centers. They began with express service to corporate centers and offices, and then opened their first store in the country in 2018.

Their first kitchen was located in Santa Ana and from there they offer express service. Currently, they have 3 stores, located in Belén, Barrio Escalante and now on Avenida Escazú.

Its founders are Diego Bugnot of Argentine nationality who has been living in Costa Rica for more than 10 years and who is a Tico at heart, a lover of this country, and Pamela Manzanares of Costa Rican nationality, both husbands and engineers. A family project created for Costa Rican and foreign families who wish to taste and live a different experience in the country; They are also pet friendy so they can bring their pets.

¨ We have always liked it a lot and as a family we really enjoy coming, in Avenida Escazú we find a little of everything, offices, residences, university, doctors' offices, shops, among many other things, it is a concept that we love, ¨ said Manzanares.
