Aleste, a new 'city' in Curridabat, began operations on a 67-hectare plot

Aleste, a new city developed in Curridabat, began operations after an investment of more than $15 million was made by the company Portafolio Inmobiliario.

The new development, located in front of the SEK International School, has the capacity to generate 1,500 jobs and has offices, residences, shops, restaurants and entertainment areas.

Alfredo Volio, executive director of Real Estate Portfolio, explained that the project has the vision of transforming the cities of the future. The initiative was developed on a plot of more than 67 hectares.

The concept of the project is to provide an inclusive and publicly accessible place where people can walk, enjoy the green areas and come into contact with cultural and recreational activities, actively participating in creating community.
